Tech to School Project 2012: DIS at IIT & UNIGEDIS was selected to participate in Tech to School Project 2012, a project realized by the Edoardo Garrone Foundation. In March, DIS IB DP students will visit IIT (Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia) and UNIGE Faculty of Natural Sciences to learn about Drug Discovery and Development and Nanochemistry. 
Tombola for Sant' EgidioDuring Tombola, thanks to Prof. Goalard, IB2 students and all of you, we raised 900 euros for Sant' Egidio. Over 4,000 people had Christmas dinner in 28 different places in Genoa thanks to this wonderful local charity. What a great way to end 2011 and ring in 2012! 
DIS and Genoa Cricket work together for flood reliefMany Deledda International School students put on their boots and helped out after the terrible flooding last week in Genoa. On Saturday many of them were back out again helping the Genoa Cricket team on Via XX Settembre to collect money for flood relief. 
"To Infinity and Beyond" NASA at DISAs part of Festival of Science, our high students had a VERY rare opportunity to hear NASA scientists today at school, Dr. Gale J. Allen, director of the Strategic Integration and Management Office and Mr. Joseph Parrish, NASA Deputy Chief Technologist. Their presentations were stellar!!! Many thanks! 
DIS & CEPIM 2011Deledda International School students helped CEPIM Genova and the Genoa Cricket team in Piazza de Ferrari on Saturday the 8th of October to celebrate the 'Giornata Nazionale delle persone con sindrome di Down'. It was a wonderful day of games, dancing and sport for all involved.
